We are back in Winnipeg after
enjoying the charm and hospitality of Quebec for a few days.
Meticulous Wood Flooring Inc. graciously invited us along to
tour Boa-Franc, the manufacturing plant for Mirage Hardwood Flooring. The group
consisted of a wonderful group of Designers, Retailers and Home Builders from Manitoba and Saskatchewan as well as GR Distributors, distributors of Mirage flooring.
The entire tour was an incredible experience, from the zero landfill policy
including extensive sustainability practices to the spotless and organized
plant to the highest quality standards and finally the beautiful finished
product.
Not only did we tour Boa-Franc, we also toured old Quebec City. The
architecture and attention to detail was stunning and the numerous stairs
certainly added to the adventure and helped us work of the rich and delicious
food. After spending most of a day exploring Quebec we visited Cabane
à Sucre where we were treated to traditional French food, music, and of course,
maple syrup!
What a wonderful way to experience French culture and the
quality of Mirage Hardwood Flooring.
